trail update

all trails where groomed over the last two nights, everything should be in good condition, we will be out saturday night.

remember to ride to the right, the trails will last longer.

trail update grooming was done saturday night on trails c7 and part of s71, everything turned out pretty decent for the amount of snow there. Still use caution as there is still some rocks sticking up and some stumps exposed, grooming will continuewhen we get more snow. remeber stay right..

Just to let you all know, our grooming will start on sat. night on the western part of the trail system ( c7 - upper s71 ) we will be just panning and filling in the low spots, so don't expect primo conditions until we get more snow, so use caution.

Just a reminder, come join us at the SILO RESTAURANT tomarrow the 15th for the second annual snowmobiler appreciation lunch. There will be

-$7.95 lunch buffet

-band

-club 50/50's

-and we will have our groomer there also.

trail update and current conditions

FYI,

the new c2 trail reroute is pretty much complete, the only thing that is left to do is a bridge below the Silo Restaurant and just some minor signing needs to be done.

If you are traveling east to west, the new trail will run along with co.rt 32 and cutting up over the hill to cahoon rd.From there you will be riding almost 1 mile of cahoon rd. on this road OBEY THE SIGNS, IF WE HAVE ONE STUPID RIDER, AND THERE IS A COMPLAINT, YOU WILL RUNNING THE SHOULDER THE HOLE WAY. We are sorry for the amount of road riding , but it was either close the trail, or this. The trai will cross rt206 and loop back around to rt206 by Moran rd. Use caution crossing 206 please. From there the trail runs down to Moran rd and cuts through the woods and up behind the silo restaurant, please ride slow when going behind the silo.

Current conditions are marginal on the western part of trail system, not enough snow to start grooming, use caution.

s71 and c2 are still closed due to very low snow conditions, only about 3-4 inches with no base.

trail work update

still alot of trail work to be done..............................

due to the lack of snow, all of our trails will remain closed. There is still alot trail work to be done, alot of signs still need to be put up, bridge work needs to be done, and the groomers still need to serviced.

Two bridges got built this weekend on the s71 re-route and i lack a few hours of signing on the upper end of s71 and c7.

The new c2 re-route is only about 25% signed and about 75% brushed. so if you have some spare time and want to help don't be affraid to give someone all call.

THERE IS A NEW TRAIL RE-ROUTE FROM THE SILO TO COUNTY RT 32

pleaes use caution as we had to re-route trail c2 from the Silo restaurant to county rt 32 due to a landowner issue.Please use caution, the trail will be very well signed, the trail will run along 1 mile of Cahoon rd so please ride slowly and respectivly to other vehicles and stay off peoples lawns and driveways, if there is one complaint of any of theses we will be closing the trail. We paid hell doing this re-route, so please respect the trail and the landowners. happy trails and a happy holidays

trails are closed

our club trails are now closed due to the warm temps and snow cover. please respect our land owners and please do not ride on there property where there is little to no snow cover in there fields and pastures. i hope everyone had a great but short lived season.

current trail/ snow conditions

trail conditions

due to the current temps, some of the fields, and roads have thin to bare conditions. Most of the trails are in good-fair condition, trails c7 from the outpost to artlake rd have not been groomed since friday night due to the temps. This section of trail will be groomed on thursday morning, along with s71 going towards the silo. trials c2 and s71 will be groomed tonight or tomarrow night. By the looks of the weather, this maybe the last time these trails get groomed until we get some colder temps.

new snow coming

the snow we have been waiting for.

The snow dance worked finally.

Just a reminder, with the new " wet heavy snow coming", it will be hard for the groomers to go right out and groom and make it flat, when you are riding the trail, try to ride to the right as much as possible, it will make the grooming alot easier, and please ride respectfully, always remember, the more you punch the gas, the moguls you will have to ride. once the trail is packed, the groomers will be out to make everything flat.
